There are some serious problems in Idaho guys. The dominant party killed the Defend the Guard bill in committee, that means a few small government conservative republicans made the decision that the entire body was unfit to even discuss the possibility of protecting your kids from unjust, undeclared wars of empire.
They dreaded the prospect of maybe missing out on some FedGov cash more than the prospect of another generation long war of empire and economics.
Your kids, who choose to serve their communities in the Idaho National Guard will continue to be sent, without a constitutional and well represented decleration of war, to kill other kids in far away lands to satisfy the blood lust of bankers and politicians.
I’m too old to be disgusted anymore, not much raises me to that passion these days. This attitude is an exception, this is a display of wretchedness, evil and demonic filth I can’t abide.
It should be hard to go to war. It should take overwhelming popular support to go to war. It shouldn’t be a case of a senile blood soaked monster making a decision and an entire generation of American young men and women being thrown into Moloch’s belly to satisfy the perversions of monsters!
Our representatives, mine specifically (Petzke) made a conscious decision to continue the simplification of war and to refuse to stand up to the Federal meat grinder and say, keep your cash, I care about my neighbors and their children too much to send them into another unjust, undeclared, unpopular war.
You on this list make me ill and ashamed. I hope when Idaho kids return from the next garbage war dead and maimed you can look them in the eyes and remember that you could have stopped it and chose your silver instead.
